Child Care Resource & Referral Program
Haida Gwaii / Queen Charlotte Islands - Serving:
Masset, Old Massett, Port Clements, Queen Charlotte, Sandspit, Skidegate, Tlell
It is the mandate of the Child Care Resource & Referral Programs to provide child care providers and families with a variety of support which could include:
- Referrals to child care providers
- Training and workshops
- Resource/Toy Lending Library Services
- Distribution of newsletters and child care information
- Provide support for new child care businesses, grant information
- Provide Drop-In Programs for care providers, families and children
- Home support visits to child care providers
- Telephone, office and outreach support and consultations
Child Care Resource and Referral Program staff are primarily Early Childhood professionals with many years of experience in the child care field.
